Mighty Muscles

W.A.L.T find and summarise information in the text.

Today I read an article called Mighty Muscles by Sue Gibbison.  I learnt that:
  1. Muscles are all over your body.
  2. They help you get stronger.
  3. They help you lift heavy stuff.
  4. Eat healthy to build good muscles.
  5. To get muscles you need to eat healthy.
  6. You need to eat eggs, meat, fish, cheese, nuts and soya beans.
  7. You need to stay string and fit and healthy.
  8. Strong mucles are important for keeping your whole body healthy.
  9. You have six hundred muscles in your body.
  10. The biggest muscle is the one you sit on.  It's called the gluteus maximus.
  11. Your smallest muscle is deep inside your ear and it is called Stapedius.
  12. Muscles pull your bones to make different parts of your body move.
  13. When your biceps relaxes the triceps contracts and pulls your arm down again.
  14. When you kick a ball hundreds of muscles team up.
I liked this article because we learnt about Mighty Muscles.

My Reflection

In this piece of  work I was learning  to find and summarise information in the text.

I think we are learning about this  because  how we need to know  muscles make us strong and how
many muscles we have in our body. there are six hundred muscles in your body.

My next step is to make it sure it makes sense and write the summary in  my own words.
